I'm doing research on my MASSEY family and found my GG-Grandmother, Margaret E. Massey, [who married Jasper Newton Young], and her eight brothers and sisters on the 1850 census in Attala Co., MS living with a "C.P. Minister" and his wife by the name of ELAM and MARGARET WADDEL. In trying to research ELAM WADDEL, I haven't found anything, but I'm curious if he could possibly be the son of Rev. Moses WADDEL and wife, Catherine Calhoun WADDEL. ELAM WADDEL was born in Georgia in about 1806. I'm also very curious if there is a family link between the MASSEY family and the WADDEL family.
