My Waddell family lived in central Arkansas, around Sheridan in Grant Co. They came from MS.

I have just started tracing this line, so I don't have much. I know that Elam and Margaret Reed (Campbell)Waddell were in MS, and I think they had a bunch of children. One of their daughters, Mary Rosanna, married James A. Gordon in Attila Co., MS, in 1847. At some point they all moved to Ark.

James and Mary (Waddell) Gordon had at least one daughter, Mary Rosanne, who married John Brantley Gean (my great-grandfather).
