Last week Kathy and Emma helped me with some information on Harrison and Catherine Vanlue Waddle's family. I spent the weekend searching and have some new facts. The had 7 daughters, Sarah E. m. J.F. Gordon? or possiblely John Ogle? Howard Co, Martha Jane, m John Chalk, Cass Co., Mary C m Charles E. Payne, Marshall Co, Emma Susan m. James Monroe Shafer-Shaffer, Matilda E. m Josiah Firestone, Minerva E m. Joseph Swihart, Dorra B did not marry as far as I know.
Looking over Harrison Waddles obit 4 of these girls were dead by 1907 I determined they had to be Sarah, Emma Susan, Matilda and Dora. I found Emma Susan and James Monroe Shaffer graves, she died in 1901 he died in 1916 they are buried in the I.O.O.F cemetary, Bourbon Twp sect #1 row 20. I can't be sure but it looks like after Emma Susan died Minerva E then married James Monroe Shaffer and then divorced him in 1904. She owned a lot of property adjacent to his. I do not know if Joseph Swihart died and they got together or just how it worked.
I would like to find out more about these girls and their families, I have info on Mary C and Martha, where did the rest go?
Also Harrison and Catherine Waddle had 3 divorces one in 1873 that was dropped another final in 1882, they remarried!!! and the last divorce was finalized in 1892 at which time Harrison married Martha Alleman, they are all buried at the dunkard church in Walnut.

Goodwin, Wm. Graham, John Waddle, James Waddle, Wm. Vanlue, Josiah Firestone, Matilda Firestone, John chalk.
Sounds like they had the whole county involved in these actions.
Is there anyone else out here looking for this group of Waddle's?
