Surnames: WAITS, WAITES
Does anyone have any information on William Leroy Waites of Madison Co. AR (possibly 1856-1889)? A person who lists him as most distant known ancestor is at this point (12 more markers are coming) a perfect DNA match to my husband, who is descended from John WAIGHT --> Samuel WAITS --> Henry --> Larry --> Benjamin --> DeWitt --> Douglas --> Douglas. I don't know of any WAITS/WAITES who moved to AR before 1900 or so. (Please respond to the board, not just to the list!)
