Seeking info on John M Walden born circa 1805. He was a glass blower who moved from Baltimore MD to Perryopolis PA when the first glass factory was established west of the Alleghany mountains. Later he moved to New Geneva, PA, when a glass factory was established at that place, and still later, when the first glass factory was established at Elizabeth, PA, took up his residence in that town. He continued in this calling until compelled by ill health to abandon it, and then opened a hotel and was identified with its management personally until his death.
He died about 1840 and his widow, Louisa (nee Bean) married James Milliken of Elizabeth PA, then she died circa 1852 in Elizabeth PA. John M & Louisa Walden had 4 children: Theresa, Mary Ann, Elizabeth & Laura. James & Louisa Milliken had 2 children: James & Adelaide.
