I am trying to find information on my great-aunt Betty Lou Stillwagon Alexander Waldman and my great-uncle John M. Waldman. Both were born in Mansfield, Ohio, died on 14 Dec 2001 at their home in Winter Garden, Florida, and buried on 20 Dec 2001 in Osceola Memorial Gardens, Kissimmee, Florida.

Any information more on them would be greatly appreciated. It's hard finding information all the way from Ohio.

RICHARD LEE WALDMAN SR., passed away Jan. 20, 2004 at Boca Raton Community Hospital.

Dick, as everyone knew him, was born May 26, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to Lee and Belle Waldman.

After graduation from Buchtel High School in 1939, he worked briefly in New York City, then enlisted in the service at the start of World War II, and married the girl next door, Dorothy May Robinson, the love of his life on Jan. 6, 1943.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy ; his son, Richard L. Waldman Jr. ; daughter, Dorothy Robin Hajtovik.

He leaves behind his sister, Nancy Close ; son, William ( Lesley ) Waldman ; grandchildren , Shawn Girman , Julianne Mertes, William Waldman Jr., Carrie Appell, Tiffany & Nichole Hajtovik ; 9 great-grandchildren.

Services at Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road with Rev. Anne Hagler officiating.

Interment at Glendale Cemetery.

I have found the Ellis Island records for Tillie Waldman and the three children she came with from Shrensk in Poland. I am looking for information regarding Max Waldman who came from Poland/Russia sometime earlier than his wife (who arrived in late 1905). They lived originally on Henry Street. The children were Abe, Joe, Bess, Rachel, Phil, Morris, Sonia and Esther. Any info is welcome.

Do the following names ring a bell with anyone? I'm searching for any information regarding the following people: Erick Waldeman, born in Bergen, Norway, b 1837 d 4/1/1914. He married Cecilia Olson. They had 5 children, William Waldeman, Amelia Waldeman, Inger Elizabeth "Lizzie", 1876 - 1953, Mary Waldeman, 1875 - 1918? and Julia Waldeman, 1872 - 1882. All we know of William is that he moved to Philadelphia and took up printing. He was a self-educated man, mastering many foreign languages, even chinese. He never married as far as we know and was buried in Pennsylvania or Rochester, New York. Amelia married Emil Budreau, an engineer. They lived in Rochester, New York. She passed away at age 50 and had no children. Julia passed away at age 10 from complications of a fall off of a train and is buried in Deerfield, Wis. I do know more about Inger Elizabeth (my great great grandmother) and Mary and her family. They mostly lived in the Wisconsin area.
Do any of these names connect to anyone out there? Does anyone know who Erick or Cecelia's parents are? Anything at all about Cecelia?
Any information will be very GREATLY appreciated!

Looking for info re life of Simon Waldman, 633 Oxford St., Phila, PA around 1910 and before/and or after. I believe his wife was Annie (Koruzia). Both were born in Russia. Har Nebo Cemetery in Phila has a Simon Waldman buried there who died in 1933. This could be "my" Waldman. His son, Isaac Waldman, was my grandfather. Some other children of Simon were: George, Hymie, and Julie.
