I came across your posting and am hopeful that I may be on the right track. I'm looking for info on a Charlie W. Waldron. I believe he was born in Arcadia (or Desoto County) around 1880's. He married my Great Grandmother,a Lillie Mae Goff (from Englewood) on Dec. 27, 1907. I know nothing about him except that he was my ggrandmothers first husband and died fairly young. Your line of Waldron's seems to be the closest geographic area. I'm hopeful you may have info or could possibly point me in the right direction with any other Waldron families from that area.

No. He was my dads much younger half brother and not a doctor. I think he graduated from high school, but bot sure. He grew up in Welch WVA and has a full sister named Julia. I am looking for Waldron family members, as my dad left WVa in 1938 and never went back so I dont know many of the Waldron's.

I am currently researching Waldron- Walrond - Waleran -Walerand fron Domesday down. So far I have found them in both Wiltshire and Devonshire. I am quite happy to pass the information on. Yes -- Albert B Waldron (abt 1829-July1877)m Saretta Grove (abt 1830-Jan 1883). She's born in Pennsylvania, shows up on the 1860, 70, 80 Fed Census in Brooklyn. He's born in NY, shows up in those censuses -- also in the 1850 Census at age 21 in a list of about 50 names. One other of those is Julia Waldron age 17, but they might not be related: not listed together, he doesn't name any of his several children Julia, she's not buried in Greenwood as many of the Waldrons are.
So I'm looking for any clue on his parents, her parents, or any siblings. One possibility for his mother: Ann N Waldron buried in 1844 in the same section as his family. One possibility for his father: Jessie Waldron buried in 1876 in the same section. I'll be checking these two at the Municipal Archives this week. Otherwise, I've got no clues.

Looking for any info regarding ancestors of Willie Catherine Waldron, daughter of William R. Waldron and Rachel E. Simpson. Willie was born in 1900 (probably in Georgia or Florida) and later married Wesley Worthington. They were in Florida for the early part of their marriage and then relocated to Memphis, Tennessee area at some point. Willie died in 1977.

i'm not aware of my waldron's being in Lewis Co.NY, but i find your mention of Orlando very interesting
i've never seen an Orlando in all the postings i've read, nor any records such as census, etc.
my grandfather's name was John Orlando Waldren (b)1902- Michigan
i've not found any other Orlando in my ancestry as of yet
John's father was-- William Kellesun Eugene Waldren(b)abt 1852 Michigan-- William's father was-- Levi Waldren(b)1828 Erie Co NY-- Levi's father was-- Joseph Waldren(b)1806-Canada or Vermont & Joseph's father was-- Lewis Waldron(Canada French)came to Vermont, son Joseph went to NY then Michigan
is there any possible connection between your ancestor's & mine ?

,on the 1911 &1891 1901 census thomas was living leigh lancashire ,so i dont when he came to leigh ,so acording to the census thomas was born in gallway but i dont know were abouts all i keep coming up with is most waldron surnames come from mayo ireland,so at this moment i dont have any imformation on his brothers or sisters ,im finding traceing the irish line very hard do you feel the same ,if you like i can give you the names of his children ,his wife;s name was margaret welsh . that could give you some clues ,please let me know in the meantime i will keep searching and get back to you if i find anything out.

im sorry i took so long but i have just found out that thomas waldrons father was john waldron
thomas was born 1856 galway but i dont were abouts in galway at present,thomas married margaret welsh in 1882 in leigh lancashire and lived in leigh all the married life margaret was born in clare ireland 1864 .
if you have any clues i will be ever so greatfull and if i find anything else out i will let you know

i am looking for any desendents of bernard waldron born around 1933 from leigh lancashire had a sister lois and she was born 1919 another could have had another brother joseph .
there parents were thomas waldron & lois lyon .
i do beleive bernard passed away around 1996 if iam on the right bernard,.
also any desendents of clarice margaret waldron she was born around 1924 her parents were patrick waldron mothers name jane ann i think they may have lived in wigan at one time

Edward Walderne born around 1530-1534 died 1589/90 had 3 sons: George, Edward, and William. George's descendents emigrated to America as soldiers involved in King Philip's War. Edward's descendents first emigrated to Holland then to America (as far as I can tell as Realestate investors), and William's I am unsure of. I am descended from Edward Jr.'s line. Here is a listing.

Hello. My name is Larry Warner. If I am correct you were corresponding with my aunt faith green below. I do not know if you ever got the answer you were looking for or not. We are descended from Nettie Lucretia Waldron (1874 - 1968) through her son Vernon Leroy Warner, who is my grandfather's father. Here is the complete list as I have it of the children of Nettie: Katie May, Beulah Violet, Vernon Leroy, Viola Elizabeth, & Joseph Lugene Warner who I have listed as born in 1913, but no date of death. I also have him listed as married to Lena M. Coon. I would love to corespond with you some more on all of this and compare notes. I have been wearing myself down trying to find out who the parents of Lugene Warner 1850 - 1918 are. This Lugene Warner is actually the father in law of Nettie L. Waldron, and Joseph Henry Warner's father. Joseph H. Warner was the one who married Nettie.

Frank and Bertha also had Harry Waldron - my grandfather. I often heard of "grannie wilde" but hadn't realized that was Bertha. She was a midwife/nurse of some sort and took in boarders in her house after Frank died. Lucy and Harold Wiggins lived in Kapuskasing. Laura and Harvey Sutton lived in Peterborough. Joy And Frank Young in Preston. Harry died around 1939, he was married to Dorothy Kelty and they had two daughters. Barbara Rae Waldron born Aug 4 1931 -- my mother. And Shirley Mons Waldron born Nov 26 1937ish.
Would be happy to share what I know, and learn more.

I appreciate the info so much. I am not even sure that is the right "George" but who knows. If he is he would be my grandfather. He would have been married to Winifred Edgerly and three children, Harry F.(my father)Bertha M. and George W. I have very little info on him. I was told he worked at Danvers State Hospital but a census has him listed as an inmate. Draft registration shows him deferred due to nervous breakdown, so that ties together if they are one and the same. A cousin told me that George died young and is buried in an unmarked grave in Hollowell Maine. My grandmother is shown as a widow on a census so that is possible. I am trying to contact someone up that way to find any proof.

I am trying to find my father's birth certificate but am ot having much luck.

I recently got a birth cert. of my G.G.Grandfather EDWIN WALDRON born 1861 in Eldersfield, Worcs. His mother was marked as BETSY WALDRON. His father was blank. EDWIN i'm guessing was Illegitimte as he also took his mothers surname

From this I was able to find his baptism record in the Eldersfield parish records. It was recorded as EDWARD of ELIZABETH WALDRON, 1861.

ELIZABETH WALDRON then went on to marry WILLIAM PEACEY and had FRANCIS, FREDERICK, FRANK, JOHN and ROBERY PEACEY

From here I managed to find out about ELIZABETH, her parents and siblings, but have again come to a brick wall at her father ROBERT WALDRON 1806-1851. According to the census' I have found he was born in Worcestershire. But where??

John Waldron's(married to Eliza Boucher) father was Thomas Waldron of Clent. Does anyone know who was his mother? I have been unable to find out. Also did he have any brothers or sisters? He was father to James Waldron (1857) who was my husband's grandfather. Marriage certificates do not show the mother's name of either the bride or the groom
