Re: Luthy Waldrum

Luthy is certainly the grand daughter of Joseph Waldrum and Marilda Jettun (my gg grandparents). She is likely the daughter of Joseph S. Waldrum (b 1850) and Alice Warden (b 1854). The question is why she is in Tenn. with her grand parents in 1880 and what became of Luthy (marriage, death, etc)?

Any thoughts or information?

I was a student of Harold Joe's in Lakin, Ks.in Band and Art and he was a mentor and good friend. I had lost contact with him over the years. My wife and I saw Ruanna in Hays some 20 years ago. Last saw Harold in Hays when he was judging an Art Competition and created quite a stir. (which he greatly enjoyed) He was just introducing Doors and Windows and had some of the cunted persons series which I think became the something Icon series. Wrote to him and talked to him occasionally after that and kept track through mutual friends. I wonder if you would have a E-Mail address or snail mail address of Kriss and Ruanna I have felt guilty for not getting in touch more often with Harold over the years and wish I could send the kids my sympathy and ask after their Mother who I also liked. Perhaps you could give his offspring my E-Mail address.

Anny Waldrum (William's sister?) is my 4th ggrandmother. She married John Easley. His granddaughter gives his middle name as Henry--John Henry Easley. I'm curious about the possibility of a double connection between the Waldrum and the Easleys.
* William Waldrum had a son named James Easley Waldrum (JHE's father is possibly James Easley)
* JEW's son is named John Henry Waldrum (see above).
Is it possible that the Nancy Ann who married WW is an Easley? I realize that William and Anny are siblings (?), and it's possible that James Easley was named that just becaue his aunt had married an Easley, but I wonder if it is because his mother was an Easley. Just curious. Any info would be appreciated.

There is a Nancey Waldrum on the 1870 Salem Twp., Greene, AR Census listed as age 67 and a widow. Could this be the Nancy who married William? JEW and family are her neighbors.

I have a William Henry Waldrum in my files, married to a Martha A. Lee (possibly his first wife?). They had two children, Callie and Harriet. I don't know his birthdate, but know it must have been after 1820. He was probably born in either Alabama or Texas. If this is your William Henry, his father is James Waldrum, married to Mary Polly Walker (1st) and Rebecca Marks (2nd). He was born in Edgefield, SC to Henry Waldrum (Waldrom) and Ann Nancy (Nancy Ann) Butler. Henry was born in Maryland, and that is the end of my records. If this sounds right, let me know. I have a bit of information on Henry's descendents.

I am looking for information on William Waldrum who was in Greene county, Arkansas. Married to Nancy Unknown. They had a daughter Lucy Ann who married Samuel Benton Fielder. I do not have a list of their children. I do know that he had a brother named James E. who married Emily that was in Greene county, Arkansas. As far as i can find out. Most of the Waldrums didn't stay in Arkansas.

I am searching for any relatives of A. J. Waldrum who lived in Bowie Co. Texas in 1920. I do not know anything about him except that he had a deed for a cemetery lot dated 1920 and no one has claimed the lot in 80 years.
