CW-2 GARY WALKER U.S. Army, Retired
Gary L. Walker, 72, of Las Vegas,
passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008. He was born Jan. 10, 1936, in St. Anthony, Idaho, and had resided in Las Vegas for 34 years. Gary retired from the U.S. Army as a CW-2 and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was married to Eileen Naughtin WALKER for 47 years. Gary is survived by his wife; their sons, Gregory (Kelli) of Las Vegas, Jeffery (Brandy) of Helena, Mont., and Robert of Las Vegas; and their daughter, Theresa Poole of Las Vegas; his sister, Dorothy WALKER Taylor of St. Anthony, Idaho; brothers, Ray WALKER of Rexburg, Idaho, and Terry WALKER of Madison, Wis. Gary is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, at St. Viator Catholic Church, 4150 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City.
