I am searching for any members of my Walker family.
Asa Walker that died at the Alamo in 1836 was my ggggrandfather Noah's brother, from family lore, and cousin to Jacob Walker that also died there.

Descendants of Noah Walker.

NOAH WALKER was born in Tennesee, and died 1842 in Texas. Noah came to Texas in Nov, 1839. He received a Land Grant of 640 acres in Liberty District, abstract number 606. This land is located around the current creeks of Kimble and Big Sandy. This is currently in Polk, Co. Texas. It is listed on the original owners land map. The property was auctioned
11/1/1842 for $40 to a Mr. A. W. Dismuke. A Mr. James Knight, Justice of Peace for Liberty District, acted as administrator of the estate. Noah died intestate. There is no mention of his family in the probate
records.
