I am trying to search for any Walkerdine relatives from Lancashire, Manchester. My great grandmother was Lydia Walkerdine (b.1852) in Lancashire and married William W. Heywood in Sept 1879. They had 5 children with whom one is my grandfather Cyril Watson Heywood.
Lydia had 2 brothers that I know of. William Walkerdine, (b.1846) in Derbyshire, married someone by the name of Sarah. A (b.1854) in Kirk Langley, Derbyshire. They had 6 children: William Jr. (b.1888), Gladys (b.1891),Dorothy (b.1893),Gwendoline (b.1895), Irene (b.1898), and Harold (b.1899) all were born in Derbyshire..... Lydia's other brother Harry (b.1853) in Grantham, Lincoln, Nottinghamshire married a woman by the name of Mary (b.1864) Harleston, Staffordshire, somewhere between 1890 and 1895 ... in the 1901 census it shows them living in the civil parish of Horninglow in Staffordshire.
These are my cousins and I am trying to find out more about them and if there are any living relatives still alive. any help would be appreciated by all.
