I am searching for documentation or any insight to our ancestor Rebecca Walkingstick, (abt1816), supposedly a Cherokee from the Carolinas. I have found record of her on marriage documentation to second husbsand in Arkansas in 1853, where her daughter, Rhoda is also located. Rebeccda's first husband last name was Starling. Rhoda was born in Georgia in 1844. She also had two husbands. Rest of family ended up in Oklahoma. The legacy goes through my grandfather, Orba Sander, through his mother Melissa SAnders
