My grandparents were part of a group photo from 1900 that was believed to have been made in front of the WALKUP home place near Waxhaw, NC. My father, who died last year, swore that the majority of people in the picture were WALKUPS. If anyone has an interest in receiving a copy of the photo, just let me known, and it will be yours. Most of the people seem to to blonde, blue eyed, and very attractive! The photo is extremely clear and detailed.
