Looking for information on Alabama/Mississippi Walleys
My great-grandfather was Richard Ellis Walley, born July 12, 1909 in Mississippi. After much searching, I happened upon a 1910 Census taken in April that lists an "Ellis Walley", born in Mississippi and 9/12 yrs old -- so far, a match.
It lists the parents as Jerry M. and Elitha Walley, both born in Alabama. Does anyone have any information to add for this or can help me clarify the link?
Likewise, I have run into a wall in searching Jerry and Elitha (especially since I do not have her maiden name).
