I am very interested in what you have on the Wallingsford family. I am just getting started and all I have on this family is Pearlie Arilla Wallingsford married to Henry Vertis Grigg and their children down. The information I have retrieved is from the familly Bible, my aunt, and mother. I also understand that they divorced and she re-married a Clifton. I also have partial information from this family. Looks like most of them were from the Louisiana and Texas area. Of course as I have gone back on the Grigg side they go back to Virginia as well. You mentioned pictures as well, I don't know if I can help or not with the female you are talking about, but maybe my mother could. Let me know.

I and my immediate family live in Austin, Texas. We are a line thru Enoch Marvin Wallingsford, son of BL (Benjamin) and Edna Jane Lock Wallingsford. Enoch is my grandfather. The children of BL and Edna:
Katie Wallingsford Rodgers
Allen Wallingsford
Mary Jane Wallingsford (1st marriage-Golden & 2nd marriage-Howze)

These people and numeruous children (I have names) are all posing for photograph that I have in my possession. No dates are available, but is relatively clear and is copyable on laser printer. I would love to share this photo with anyone who thinks they are of this linage from BL and Edna Wallingsford. I am wanting to put together a tree diagram. I also would love to obtain any information concerning BL (Benjamin) Wallingsford. As the story goes in our family, BL was a son of a "BR Wallingsford". I have an uncle that has a photo of this gentleman posing with a Cherokee female, supposedly his wife. I would love to compile information concerning this woman. I am Jerome Wallingsfords grand daughter. My mother is his daughter by his first wife. Her name is Sheilda Anne. You would be her first cousin and my second cousin. We would love to hear from you. Especially my mother as she didn't meet any of her Wallingsford relations until she was thirty one years old and then her grandmother, Alice only once before she died. Grandpa can't talk due to a stroke, but she stays in touch with grandma Martha and Aunt Laverne. We have been trying to do the genealogy, but it has been difficult, not knowing who is who exactly. I am researching my fathers family. James and Alice were my grandparents. I believe James mother was Aveline LeBow. If there are any cousins out there I haven't met, I'd really love some information. I would to help all I can and you never know we just may be related.All I have in the Wallingsfords is gr-gr-gr-grandmother her name is Anna Allen Wallingsford who married Rev.John Jackson Campbell.She was born December 13,1825 to Gilkie and Margaret Wallingsford.She married Rev John Jackson Campbell Feb 22,1844.And She died Sept 21, 1906 in Johnstown,IL.Thay had 5 children.And thay are:
Gilkie W. Campbell who married Mary Alexander
Barbara Campbell who married John Zike.
Mitilda Campbell
Maryjane Campbell who married John Michaels.
Sarah Ann Campbell who married Benjamin Mayhall.
I have not anything else but that.I know there is a book about my family and maybe even yours too.I don't know where my gr-gr-gr-gr-grandparents started but my gr-gr-gr grandmother ended up here.I hope this helps

P.S the book is called "The Johnstown Story"the town was named after my gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-grandfather John Alexander.If you want to know anything about the Wallingsfords thay will be in that book.I have been to her grave and I have talked to her.Know I feel closer to her.Anna Allwn Willingsford was said to be a really wonderful person and a great mother.

My grandfathers name is Jerome Wallingsford, I believe his father's name was James. They are from Texas. I do not know if this has any relevance for you, but you may possibly be able to help me. I am looking for a great great great grandmother Anna Allen Wallingsford.She was born Dec 13,1825 and married Rev.John Jackson Campbell on Feb 22,1844.She died Sept 12,1906 in Johnstown,IL.He died Feb 29,1864.She was the daughter of Gilkie and Margaret Wallingsford.
