Alvin George Walley, Alvin George Walley, Fred Smith Walley, Sherman Lavane Walley, My Mother and myself.. this all dates back to about..
1755 to current date.. I would love to hear back from you on this if any of this sounds like it might ring any bells.. Bye for now..
Beth Knappenberger Rachas :)

11-23-00 Pls excuse my tardiness in replying. Our Wally's (actually my husbands family) immigrated about 1850 when he was 14. Their name was Wuschy and his first name was William Theadore. They were from Lobau, Kingdom of Saxton, Germany. It seems that your family was here in the US before ours.

Beverly, I don't have any dates on Susan Wally. She married William Riley Barnett. He was born 1807, assuming he married around 20 years old, that would put their marriage at about 1827. She was my ggggrandmother. I beleive you when you say the Wally family is not very large, you are the only one I've been able to contact, in fact I posted the first message on the Wally message board.
I have contacted other cousins on the Barnett side since your message, about some dates but no response yet.
I really appreciate any information that you can get from your other relatives.
Riley was the son of Uriah. Uriah was born in E. Carolina in 1783.
I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from some of the others maybe one of them will some dates.
my email billbarn@bellsouth.net

thanks
Bill
