I am looking for Christianna Walroth's parents.(I am her great granddaughter) She was born around Jan 7, 1824 in Herkimer County, N.Y. and was married around l843 to Cyrennius Shepard (born April 11, 1823 in Jefferson County). They later moved to Iowa and she died Dec 4 1873 in Montgomery Count, IA and is buried in Cass County, Iowa.

I'm part of the Jefferson County branch. My great-grandfather was Roland Walroth. My grandfather used to talk about a Johannes Walrath in Camden East, Lennox & Addington Co., Ontario, Canada, but I can't seem to trace that branch far enough to tell. Any information would be helpful. Thanks-

I am interested in any information on the couple in the following marriage record, and their descendants:

"John Blakely age 28, single, living at Oso, born at Kitley Twp., son of William Blakely and Margaret (Gibson), married Hannah Monah Walroth, age 18, single, living at Oso, born at Olden, daughter of Joseph Walroth and Hester Ann Wood, at Oso Township on Aug. 28, 1885".

They were also north of Kingston Ontario. My connection is through Blakely. Thanks for any help.

I have been in contact by snail mail with Stephan Smith. He is in the same Walroth line back to Jacob Walroth and Hannah Peters.
Dorville Walrath was the son of Eli Walroth and Edith Snider, grandson of Jacob Walroth and Isabella McKnight, g-grandson of Eli Walroth and Jane Ann Lovelace, gg-grandson of Jacob Walroth and Hannah Peters. This first Jacob was the son of Johannes Walroth and Sarah Lewis. It is believed by other Walroth/Walrath researchers that this Johannes was the son of Hendrich Walrath and Catherine Klock of the Mohawk Valley, New York. Walroth is one of the 30+ alternate spellings given for Walrath. There were a few Wallrath emigrants from Prussia in the early to mid 1800s but it is believed all others with this surname are descended from Heinrich Conrad or Gerhardt Wallrath, both 1710 Palatine emigrants. HER FATHER WAS EBER WALROTH BORN APPROXIMATELY 1910 AND EBER'S FATHER WAS HARRY WALROTH AND EBER'S GRANDPARENTS WERE JACOB WALROTH AND HESTER ANN (NEE WOOD) WALROTH. My mother's maiden name was Walroth. My grandfather,
Emil, was from Jeanette, PA. He married Lena Louella Craig in 1911, and they had 4 children, 3 girls and a boy. My
mother told me my grandfather was adopted after he was found abandoned. All that remains
of my mother's family are two aunts who cannot remember or express themselves anymore. I am trying to trace
