Patrick Welsh/Walsh, born Mar. 15, 1819, Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland, parents: Patrick Welsh & Mary McHugh. Immigrated to USA, worked barges on the Mississippi, Married abt. 1850 to Mary Dunn, b. Mar./May 1829, Castlebar, Ireland, father Thomas Dunn. Patrick- Farmer: Genesee County, NY. Moved to Medonte, Simcoe County, Ontario 1873. Children: Catherine, (married Patrick Kenney, lived in Indiana). As well these children: James, John, Patrick, Thomas, Michael, Mary, and Annie, all born USA and came to Canada with their parents.
