The Indian, at Onondaga Castle, N. Y. An interesting sketch follows, stating in brief that he was noted for stupidity and drunkenness until 50 years of age; that he suddenly fell back in his bunk and remained insensible for about 8 hours. When he came to he said he had seen heaven and that no drunkards, liars, thieves, could enter there. He became a temperance advocate and the influence upon his people was immense.
