Hmmm...Wangerin connections...

There seems to be 3 or 4 Wangerin families in the U.S. that immigrated from what I can see.

There's mine who were from Pielburg, Neustettin, Pommerania, Prussia, settled in Effington Twp., Otter Tail, MN:
Eduard A. Wangerin & Johanne Caroline Wilhelmine Raske, children:
Albert Eduard Anton
Auguste Albertine Wilhelmine
Wilhelmine Henriette
Wilhelm Eduard Gustav
Bertha Emilie
Louise Bertha Marie (my great-great grandma)
Gustav
Anna Bertha

gets confusing with the names...
The MI bunch...WI bunch...and OR which I finally think I found a connection to. There was a Richard Wangerin m. Emma Gasche, children Henry, Frank and Louis who was b. in OH, died in Effington, Otter Tail, MN who had a brother Gustave John m. Amelia Gasche whose descendants live in OR. Richard and Gustave's parents were Frank and Minnie (Marquat) Wangerin who died in Effington.

Being that I have my Eduard's father listed as Frank...I'm thinking Frank and Eduard who both settled in Effington were brothers or at least cousins...

And there has to be connections with the MI family as mine is from Stettin.

Any more clues?? This is going to drive me mad since I know they have to be connected being such an uncommon name and with so few main families.
