Hi - was your mother a child of Ralph or Irene? I don't have a lot of information about the Wisconsin Warblers and would be grateful to find out more. I also would be happy to share any information I have on the Michigan Warblers with you as well.

Let me know if you want more information. I cannot find where Charles went after 1880. Everyone else from William's family I know what happened to, although I don't have a confirmed burial place for his parents, although I know it is probably somewhere in Keweenaw County. Is your mother's grandfather Ralph or is it her grandmother, Irene? My grandmother, Shirley Warbler Stock, remembers Ralph - referred to him as "Little Ralphie". My mother is still living at 80 and has contact with some of the cousins still. You are also part of the Elias clan, since Emma was my great-grandmother's youngest sister.

Looking for information on Gottlieb Wappler b.1826 - possibly in Prussia. Married September 1, 1852 Copper Falls, Houghton County (now Keweenaw County), Michigan to Mary Wills (or a variant), also from Germany. They lived primarily in Keweenaw County and had 6 children: Paulina, Henry, Charles, John, William, and Peter. Paulina married Englebert Bammert 1869, Henry married Regina Elias ca. 1877, and William married Emma Elias (Regina's sister) in 1902. The other brothers never married as far as is known. Gottlieb died in a mining accident 1867 and Mary died ca. 1874. The decedents of this family can be found in the Detroit, Michigan area, Sheboygan, Wisconsin area and possibly the area of Duluth, Minnesota. Any information about these individuals would be very helpful. Thank you.
