John William Warner (b. ca 1829, supposedly in Old DuQuoin IL) had a son William Wallace Warner, b. 1852 (mother's maiden name "Humphrey") in Missouri. When W.W.'s mother died (shortly after his birth), John W. took his son and left him with a sister named Luella Fagg or Flagg) in Shawneetown, IL. Later, when John W. married, he brought his son to live with the growing family in Muhlenberg Co KY. The family was supposedly of Scots-Irish descent.
