Robert Warnick married 1st 2-18-1846 Julia Ann Read and 2nd Mary E. Lay 3-4-1858. I am looking for the children by his second wife Mary E. Lay. I believe that Rebecca is one of their children. She is listed on the 1870 census in Macon County, Il as Rebeca with Lidia Lay and Sarah. She is listed on the 1880 census in Montgomery County, Il.as Rebeca under Sarah Pasley as a neice. Sarah Pasley was a Lay. I also thing evidence show that Enos was a son. He is listed on the 1880 census at 12 years as a brother-in-law of Frederick(index has Huduick) Myers. Frederick's wife was Minerva an older daugter of Robert Lay. I cannot find an 1860 census for the Robert Lay family. I assume he was in the war so maybe that is why the family isn't showing up.

I believe that Mary E. Lay may be the sister of James B. Lay who ends up in Montgomery County, Kansas.

Do you know anything about the children of Robert Lay? I would like to correspond with anyone interested in any of the above names.---or connections to the above names.

Donald "Don" H. Warnick, 85, Moses Lake resident, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at LakeRidge Special Care Center in Moses Lake.

Burial will take place at Tahoma Cemetery in Yakima. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Don was born September 19, 1920 in Yakima to the late Roy & Mary (Shuman) Warnick.

Don was one of the original owners of the Warnick Brother's Guest Ranch in the upper Wenas Valley. He was later employed by the Yakima Hardware Company for a number of years.

Survivors include his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Warnick and Michael & Donna Warnick; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki & Matt Peunic and Lisa & Randy Johnson along with 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy.

Cora M. Proctor Warnick, 88, of Atkins, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at the Atkins Nursing Center.

She was born July 30, 1914, in the Pleasant Grove Community near Dover to the late John Henry
and Minnie Bell Goates Proctor. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assemblies of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest E. Warnick; two
daughters, Edna Mae and Betty Fae Warnick; and two brothers, Lewis and Luther Proctor.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Helen Hughes Warnick of Russellville; a
daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Kay Warnick DeGroot and Franklin DeGroot of Galesburg, Ill;
a sister, Clara Proctor Williams of Pleasant Grove; three grandchildren, Steven Gaylord of
Galesburg, Ill., Paul Warnick of Russellville, and Rachel Lynn Gross of Addison, Ill; four
great-grandchildren, Lacey and Elizabeth Warnick of Dardanelle, Molly Kate and Max Gross of
Addison, Ill.; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Monday at Shinn Chapel with Rev. Mike Chisum officiating. Burial was in
the Booger Hollow Cemetery north of Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers included Aubrey and Robert Williams and Bill LuRue.

Memorials may be made to the Atkins Nursing Cemter, 605 Ave. 7 NW, Atkins, Ark. 72823.

Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Warnick.

I am looking for any information on a Stanley Warnick. He lived in Wisconsin and then moved to Kansas or some southern state. He was married to Adele Pagel. They divorced in the 60's I think. Stanley was my grandfather that I never knew. I never knew any of his family or even heard about them. It is very important that I find info on this family. Looking for my ggrandmothers ancestors. She was Sarah Elizabeth Warnick who married James Robert Tucker in 1868. I believe her father was Frank M. Warnick but that's all I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking for information on the Solomon K. Warnick family.
I know that he was a volenteer in the 5th PA Calvery (1861) but that is where I hit a wall.
He had Six sons and a daughter, Samuel Gelson 11/29/1866, William Harry 1/17/1867, Adam Finkenbinder 1/29/1870
John Marvin 6/9/1871, Solomon Coons 6/9/1875 (my g/grandfather, Haley Catherine 9/18/1877 and Robert George 12/17/1882
Any help on getting me passed the civil war would be appreciated.

I'm looking for information about the family
of my g-g-grandmother, Susan Cooper Warnick b.
1839 in Alton, Madison Co., Ill. She was the
daughter of Isaac Warnick b. 1800 in Pa., but
raised, between 1803 and 1830,in Greene and
then Knox Co., Tn. Isaac was the son of
Frederick Christian Warnick and his wife
Elizabeth. Other children were Henry Daniel
Hellene, William Christian, and Elizabeth.
