Seeking Information on Herman Warnke and Marie Lampe

I am seeking any information on the ancestors and descendents of Herman Warnke b. 7/1846 in Hanover, Germany (death October 18, 1910?? in St. Donatus, Iowa??) and his wife Marie Lampe b. 6/1853 also in Hanover. Both relocated to Iowa. I know of only one son to Herman and Marie - Henry George Warnke b. in 1881 o 1886 in Iowa who eventually married Sophia Gondringer. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Pauline Mathilde Warnke married to August Zauft sometime around 1872.

They had children: Alvina born 1876, Alfred Albert born 24 Sep 1882 in Ellsworth, Pierce Co., WI, and Arnold born 1889.

1880: Monroe County, WI
1910: Clifton, Pierce Co., WI
1920: Spring Valley, Pierce Co., WI

My great-grandfather was August Zauft who was married to a Paulina. I am not sure if this is the August you list. Do you know when and were the marriage occurred? My Zaufts were in Oak Dale, Monroe, WI in 1880. In later census they are in Pierce county Wisconsin

This is an old thread so I realize it's a long shot: I'm looking for Warnke's who settled in the Placerville, El Dorado County area in the early 1900's.

I'm looking for more information for the family of a Henry John Warnke who was born in Kentucky ca 1880 and settled in Placerville, where he married Anna H. Fox on 29 Dec 1908. I believe Fox was Anna's married name from a previous marriage, and she had a five year old daughter named Helen Anna Fox when she married Henry.

Unfortunately that's all I have; any info would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for info on a Dorothy and Marion Warnke, sisters, probably born in Ontario Canada after 1911. They would have been the daughters of William Frederick Henry Warnke b 1875 and Ellen Harmon(s) b 1877. They may have had a brother William Henry Harmon Warnke b 1901 in Hamilton Ontario.

I noticed in your message that you have the DOB and DOD for Amil and Ida Warnke's children. If you could sent me that info, I would greatly appreciate it as I do not have much info about them other than their names. My ggrandfather was Amil's brother (Albert Carl Warnke) and my ggrandmother was Ida's sister (Emilie Antonia Dorow). Also am still looking for anything on Amil and Alberts grandparents

Searching for marriage data, etc. on ggrandparents:
John P. Campbell, born NY 7 Mar 1856, parents from PA, met Anna Warnkey, born 22 Oct 1864, in West Bend, WI and married her about 1892. They had three sons: Louis (17 Nov 1893), Walter (10 Jul 1895) and Harry (6 Jul 1902). Louis is my grandfather.

Parents for both John and Anna are not known. If you have a clue ...

Warnke 1850-? Germany US and Canada

This is what I have so far in my family tree. Do any of these names fit into any of your Warnke family trees? Do you recognize any of these people as being "cousins". I know that there were "cousins" in the US probably to Peter Sr or perhaps his brothers and sisters were in the US.

Claus Warnke died before 1871 in Schleswig-Holstein Germany and was a carpenter. I know for sure he had 1 son:
Peter Warnke b1840 in SH and died 1913 Hamilton Ontario. Peter married Wilhelmine Sophia Johanna Peters b 1846 Germany and died 1935 Hamilton. There children were:
Johann Christian Ludwig b 1867 Germany
Peter Martin August b1871 in SH (went by August)
William H (Wilhelm) b 1875 Paris Ontario
Minnie Lorene b 1880 Hamilton Ontario
Peter Martin is my GGGrandfather and came to Canada in 1871 with his brother and parents. Some paperwork I found says that the family had relatives in New York but I'm uncertain whether it was the Warnke or Peters side.
Any info would be a help.

Regarding Amel / Emil Warnke and Ida (Dorow) Warnke. I not real familiar with Amel. I can tell you the Ida (Dorow) Warnke was born in the township of Zittau in Winnebago Cty. WI.
He had a brother Albert Warnke who married Amelia Dorow. She is the younger sister of Ida.
My great-grandfather was the brother of the two sisters. Do you by chance know where Amel and Ida are buried? Thanks

I am looking for the family of Henry Warnke. Henry may have originally been from Nebraska. He married Ada Kline. Ada was originally from Nebraska. Her father Joseph Kline was my great-great uncle. Per the 1930 Minnesota, Becker county census, Henry and Ada had four children, Ines, Clifford, Orville and Leslie. Ada's father, Joseph, also lived with them. I have some old photos family photos that were taken around 1930 in Minnesota. I have been able to identify Joseph Kline in these photos and according to my aunt the others in the photos are relatives that lived in Minnesota which makes me believe that some of the individuals may be Warnkes or Klines. Unfortunately, none of the photos have any identification other than taken in Minnesota. I am looking for someone who may be able to help identify the individuals. Thanks.

I'm looking for information on any WARNKE or WARNKEN families who were in Benton Co., Missouri in about 1860's and forward and who might have moved to Kansas in later decades .... possibly Crawford Co., KS.

A Jurgen/Jordan Warnke b. about 1814 in Hanover, Germ. with wife Sophia b. about 1822 in Hanover had the following known children:

I am sorry but you are the first one to contact me regarding this grand original old photo. My only wish is to get the picture back to family members where it belongs. If you know of any Warnke family related to Wilma's parents William and Minnie, please contact me. In about 1917 when the photo was taken in Portage (Columbia Co.) WI, Wilma was about a year old.. By the 1920 census, Wilma and her parents and brothers lived in Fremont (Waupaca Co.).

we visited the grave site of Joseph & Belle & their daughters & Philip Mains in August @ the Stella Cemetary. Did Belle & Joseph have any more family? Wshat about Otis?
Philip Mains made his home with Belle & Joseph when he died.
I'm trying to find out what happened to Belle's sister-in-law, Alice Secrese Mains, who reportedly died in 1885, living in Bartlettm Ia. on the 1885 Census with her husband Jacob Ransom Mains & 3 small children. I'm hoping some allied families may be able to help me.

They had several children....

Rheinholt, born April 15, 1872.....died April 17, 1929
William, born May 22, 1874.....died May 10, 1951
Arthur, born August 13, 1885.....died July 12, 1948

and other siblings that I'm not sure about, but have heard they might be Alma, Eddie, Louie, Selma, Alexis.....

Just got emigration data on GGGrandparents. Peter Warnke b 1840 and Wilhelmine Sophia Johanna Peters b 1846, left Schleswig-Holstein in 1871 to come to New York because there was family there. Peter's father was Claus Warnke a carpenter in S-H. Do any of these name mean anything to anyone out there!!!!

My GGrandparents were Albert Carl Wanke and Amelia Dorow. I have some information on Albert and Emil's parents, Wilhelm Warnke and Augusta Schmidt, but would appreciate anthing on Wilhelm's parents. I think his name may have been Michael.Also am looking for a connection to the Warnke's in Marquette county. My Great Grandparents were Albert Carl Warnke and Amelia Dorow. Albert was a brother to Amil. Their parents came to America in 1854 on a ship named Republic from Bremmen to New York. I would be interested in any information you might have on the Warnkes that settled in Fond du Lac and Waupaca Cty.
