Frank Brown was a son of Franklin Brown and Sarah Ann Warrington.

I have a lot of information about their ancestors, from Elias Brown & Elizabeth Hiles forward, but then everything stops with Albert's generation, because my mother's memory wasn't what it should have been.

Thanks.

I'm looking for someone researching the following people so that I can confirm or deny these links into my family tree. I had a 'bit of as roll' on the IGI last night and need to confirm that these people are fathers and sons.

1) Daniel WARRINGTON = Elizabeth SCATTERGOOD
Marriage: 04 Nov 1715 in Bulkington Warwickshire
(Christenings appear to indicate that Daniel could be Daniel WERRINGTON who was christened 1690/1692 in Maxey Northamptonshire)

2) Thomas WARRINGTON = Phoebe (Unknown)
Thomas christened 29 Oct 1723 in Nuneaton Warwickshire

3) Daniel WARRINGTON = Elizabeth (Unknown)
Daniel christened 22 Apr 1739 in Churchover Warwickshire

4) Daniel WARRINGTON = Jane ROE (or ROWE)
Daniel christened 20 Oct 1771 in Monks Kirby, Warwickshire
Jane christened 02 Jun 1776 in Ellastone, Staffordshire
Marriage 30 Sept 1799 in Ellastone Staffordshire

5) Daniel Warrington = Elizabeth HILL
Daniel Christened 29 Jun 1800 in Elastone Staffordshire
Marriage 10 Feb 1825 in Rocester Staffordshire

6) George WARRINGTON = Elizabeth PERCIVAL
George christened 07 May 1843 in Swinton Lancs
Marriage 27 Aug 1863 in Manchester Lancs

All of the above (except for George who's marriage certificate I hold - so father's occupation and name shown and ties into Daniel (no 5) on the 1861 census) have had parent names taken from their christening records on the IGI. I just need to be sure I've got the right parents so that I can start tracing their other children.

Any help would be appreciated.
Hi
I’d be grateful if anyone has information on Thomas Bush born about 1785 Warrington. I’m looking for his Birth information but have hit a brick wall. I know he married Nancy Jackson in 1809 St Elphins. You have kindly sent me information recently regarding his children, some born in Warrington, St Helens, Stourbridge, but I can’t actually find Thomas’s Birth. Any information is appreciated

Many thanks

Carol
I've searched all the usual sites and I'm beginning to think maybe they didn't marry at all !!
Grateful for any help
Many thanks
Carol
This picture was among several I purchased at a flea market. The only identifier is on the back..Uncle Tom Warrington. Almost all the other pictures were from England/Scotland but many were loose so there's no guaranty it came from there. It is signed on the right bottom, presumably the photographer, but it is very hard to read. Perhaps 'Santini ?pool'. If someone would like a higher resolution copy please email me with Warrington in the subject line. This is not any of my lines so I know nothing more.

Any info on the following people would be appreciated.

JANE DAVIES b c1859 Manchester (boarded with her sister Elizabeth in 1891 census at 6 Fitzgeorge ST, Harpurhey).

ELIZABETH DAVIES b c1869 Manchester. Married Frederick ALLCOCK (1891 has him as down as Allsock). They were childless.

ANNIE DAVIES b c1870 Manchester. Married someone called WARRINGTON. They had 2 children: George William WARRINGTON b.1887 and Lily WARRINGTON b 1889. Annie's husband died when he was 20-25 years old, so Annie and her children also lived with Elizabeth for a while.

We believe that George William (Bill) WARRINGTON married someone called Edith and they stayed in the Manchester area, again we think they were a childless couple.

Lily WARRINGTON married John CLOUGH from Bolton and they moved to Norfolk.

My family tell me that Lily always said she was from Ashton but I can find no evidence to support that. Any help gratefully appreciated.

Warrington's in Ontario, Canada

I have in my possession a copy of a newspaper article and hand written on it, is the date of June 23, 1930.
This article is with regard to the death of two Warrington brothers, Stephen and James. They were killed in an auto crash near Ottawa. James, 21 at the time, was one of the best known parachute jumpers in Canada and was stationed with the parachute section of the department of national defence in Ottawa. Stephen, 24, at the time, was quartered at Base Borden.
Among the mourners, were their parents, James and Florence Warrington of 74 Dentonia Ave. Also there was Ethel and Arthur Warrington. The brothers were buried side by side at St. John's Norway Cemetery in Toronto. Full military honors were accorded the brothers.
Any additional information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
Ingrid

Missing Mary Warrington

My great-grandfather, Harley Edgar Brown, married Mary Warrington @ the turn of the last century. She died young - I think she died somewhere between 1910 and 1920, but that's a guess; she may have lived during the twenties. If we assume 25 yrs/generation, Mary was born between 1870 and 1880 (my grandfather was born in 1909).

My trouble in locating Mary starts with her PoB: Idaho or Minnesota. One family member, who has the citizenship papers of one of Harley's sons, says it's Minnesota; another family member, who has the service records of one of Harley's other sons, says it's Idaho.

On a note, scratched into an old envelope, are the words 'grgrandparents - dairy farm outside Butte 1900 - later, Anaconda Copper Mine' (1886 was crossed out and replaced with 1900). My grandfather was born in Butte, so I know Mary and Harley E. traveled from [insert hometown here] to Montana sometime before 1909.

Does what little info I have on Mary seem familiar to anyone?
