Marguerite Warsaw
1913-2003
Marguerite Louise Warsaw, 90, of Lima, N.Y., mother of Cheyenne resident Edward Carl
Warsaw Jr., died Sept. 26 in Lima.
She was born April 26, 1913, in Strawn, Ill.
She lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., for 58 years. She was employed in retail sales at
Patterson Fletcher for 30 years.
On Nov. 17, 1936, she married Edward Carl Warsaw.
She was a member of Calvary Temple, where she was involved in Golden Oldies of
Calvary Temple, and Widows and Friends of Calvary Temple. She was also a volunteer
at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Warsaw is survived by two sons, Edward Carl Warsaw Jr. of Cheyenne, and Jerry
Burton Warsaw of Lima; a sister, Laura Lindenbaum of Forrest, Ill.; five grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Warsaw; her parents, Barthel and
Lena (Troesch) Steidinger; two brothers, Albert Steidinger and Karl Warsaw; and three
sisters, Sarah Haab, Martha Wiley, and Ida Matuzek.
The memorial service was held Wednesday at Calvary Temple Worship Center. The Rev.
Bill Campbell officiated. Interment was in Strawn, Ill.
Friends may contribute to Widows and Friends Fund of Calvary Temple, 1400 W.
Washington Center Road, Fort Worth, IN 46825.
O'Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, Lima, was in charge of arrangements.
