My name is Penelope Peterson my great grandfather is Frederick Wasden. I know most of my Dad's family is from Scipio... Yes there are some original homes still intact there in Scipio.. I have a 98 year old cousin Loraine Monroe Wasden still living there and knows so much history still... SHe is sharp as a tack... GO see her.. She is the best source you can get... Penelope
