[Headline] Mrs. Bisbing's Father Dead.
John J. Washburn, father of Mrs. Wilbur Bisbing, of Coal and Wilkes-Barre streets, this place, died yesterday at his home at Paterson, aged 63 years. Death was sudden and unexpected, occurring just as Mr. Washburn was about to leave his home for work in a brass foundry. Deceased was a native of Weatherly. He is survived by his wife, who resides at Paterson, and the following children: Miss Clara Washburn, Miss Myrtle Washburn and John J. Washburn Jr., of Paterson; Charles, of Towaco, and Mrs. Bisbing, of this place. A brother Jacob Washburn of Paterson, and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Heine, of near Weissport, Carbon county, and Mrs. Lewis Getz, of Avoca, PA., also survive him.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bisbing and two children went to Paterson today to attend the funeral.
