Jean M. Jacoby WASHBURN, 73, of Bethlehem, died Friday, Feb. 28 2003, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.
Born: Jan. 18, 1930, in Allentown, a daughter of the late Edwin C. and Miriam Focht Jacoby.
Personal: She and her husband, Robert J. Washburn Jr., celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary last Oct. 3.
She was a food server at The Wood Company, Food Services Management at Lehigh University for 17 years before retiring in 1991.
Memberships: She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hellertown where she formerly sang in the choir.
Survivors: her husband; a son, David M. of Allentown; and a grandson.
A son, Edwin C., died in 1997 and a son, Robert J. III, died in 1987.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown.
Call 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial in Grandview Cemetery in Allentown.
