Looking for any information on William Washburn, my deceased grandfather. He listed on his marriage certificate to my grandmother that he was an engineer. I know he worked at one time as a cook. He was very possibly in the service at one time(merchant marines). He was married before my grandmother to a Sylvia. (I was told she had a child, a boy). He also loved to gamble. He lead a very secretive past. He probably had more than one identity. We know very little about his birth family.
