They settled in Missouri and had at least 3 sons - Luther, John, and David F. I've found the last name spelled both ways, but in the later census' its been spelled Waterbury. I've found David F. in the Missouri 1920 & 1930 census'. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I am specifically looking for information on William's parents. I believe his father was Wendall Yager Waterbury and his mother was Mallisa Jane Taylor, but I haven't been able to verify this information.
The Grace Waterbury family history of Jonathan Waterbury published in 1930 does not have any information on Wendall, other than he "was possessed of the wanderlust and never married. He died in the west where he had gone as a young man."

Any information would be appreciated.

Karen Bellmer

Nettie F. Waterbury (1863-1956) married Warner S. Kimmey. I know she had sisters, Minnie who married George Warner, Hattie, who married John Lasher and Carrie who married Lewis Miller all in Rensselaer County. I believe their parents are Clark Waterbury (1840-1909) and Frances P. Williams (1837-1923). That is as far as I got so far. There are lots of Waterburys in Rootsweb cemetery site for Rensselear County, but I haven't figured out how or if they are all related. Can anyone help?

I am looking for ANY information about John Waterbury who was described as a "merchant of Saint John and a Loyalist from Stamford, CT " in a biography of his son in law, John Waterbury Cudlip. His daughter, Rebecca Waterbury was married in 1813, so I am estimating that John Waterbury's birthdate might have been sometime between 1760-1777. Can anyone help?

I am looking for information about REBECCA WATERBURY and I am estimating she would have been born around 1795 or so. She married JAMES CUDLIP in 1813 and lived in Saint John, New Brunswick. In researching the Waterbury surname, I did come across a Peter C. Waterbury and a John Waterbury who were Loyalists given land grants in Saint John, NB in 1784. In the book, New Brunswick Loyalists by S. Dubeau, there is also reference to a David Waterbury who married a Eunice Dean in 1782. I am trying to find out who Rebecca's parents were. Can anyone help?

Jan 25, 1731/32 in Smithtown, Long Island, NY and d. Jan 30, 1833 also in Smithtown) and Nancy Smith. I believe Jane was b. abt 1759 and she died Aug 7, 1781. I do not have dates or locales for John Waterbury but the must be around the same time and presumably lived on Long Island.

Does anyone have information on this line of Waterburys?

I am the Stamford town coordinator for the Fairfield County Connecticut USGENWEB Project website. Our goal is to help people who are researching their ancestors who came from Fairfield County. My focus is specifically on Stamford. Does anyone have a website with genealogical data for the family of John Waterbury, one of the original settlers of Stamford? He is also my 8th great-grandfather. Preferably, this genealogy should include ALL the children and spouses (and inlaws, where known) for at least three generations, but the more the better. We would like to be able to link our site to yours if you agree. Or if you don't have a website, can you send a gedcom or text file? Thank you on behalf of the USGENWEB Project, generously hosted by Rootsweb. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ctfairfi/

WATERBURY AND MILLER IN NY

The only information that I have on the Waterbury name is that either a male or female Waterbury married into the John Miueller/Miller family. This took place in upper part of eastern New York. When John's German wife died, he changed his name from Mueller to Miller. He married a Martha Farrington the second time aroung. The only other name that I have is Sandusky. Any connections out there?
Chris
