Eli (Elijah?) Waterhouse - Vermont, New York, Ohio, Iowa, died 3-1-1873

Seeking any connections to Eli Waterhouse, born abt. 1801 in Vermont. Died 3-1-1873 and is buried in the Oakwood cemetery in Lovell, Jones County, Iowa. Wife was Isabella, reportedly born 1804 in Ohio per 1850 census record.
Only one child is known at this time- Norman Waterhouse, born 1827 in New York. Norman married Harriet (maiden name unknown, born 1832 in Ohio) 7 children born to Norman and Harriet Waterhouse: Samantha, Jane, Edwin, Chapman Norman, Albert Hattie and Wilson N. Waterhouse (born April 1862 in Jones, Iowa). All the children except Wilson Waterhouse were born in Ohio.
Any help or connections would be very much appreciated.
