I know that it has been years since your post, but I have some information on Smith and Samuel Waters. If I am correct, I believe that they are ancestors of mine. Samuel was Smith's son. He married Achsa ? in New York. Both Smith and Samuel ( and possibly other unknown siblings) moved to Claridon, Geauga County, Ohio sometime between 1830 and 1840. They both raised their families there and are buried there. I hope that this helped.
