My mother's family (Watfords)has roots in northeastern North Carolina (Ahoskie/Colerain area) and Virginia (Suffolk/Norfolk/Virginia Bch area). My grandfather is George Theodore Watford. My grandmother was also a Watford before marriage--Mary Eleveese Watford. Her father was King Solomon Watford. I have found some ties to my grandfather in West Virginia. I am trying to dig a little deeper. Now our family has branched out all over the country. If anyone has some info that may be helpful, I would appreciate your sharing it with me.
