hi ian my mum gave me some info on our family tree shes 81 but has a great memeory she gave me her 8 auntys and 1 uncle names and told me who they married = margaret b 1888 married robert watmough in 1909 my grandmother is margarets sister mary agnes kelly

David, I have an Ann Watmough b: Nov. 6, 1789 in Lancashire, England. All I know about her parents is they were silversmiths. Would you happen to know if Peter's parents were silversmiths. I thought they might be siblings. Love to hear from you.

Sorry Joanne I don't know what line of work Peter was involved in. I do have other members of the family here in Australia who I can ask so will do that and hopefully find out something. Will be in touch....

Sandi, I have in my tree a few WATMOUGHS. My GGGG Grandfather was Thomas WATMOUGH and his son was Peter b. 1808 in Bolton, Lancashire. Peter and wife Ann CROMPTON gave birth to eight children from 1827-1846 and two of these I have on record as having passed away in Australia. I am not sure at what stage the family came to Australia although I suspect it was around 1850-55 and I don't have any details on the parents' passing, but I would assume that also to be in Australia. Anyway not sure if this helps......

I am researching the above surnames. The Procters were in 1850's in and around Bradford Yorks. They were mill owners and the mill was at Hough End Yorks. Any information would be appreciated.
