Surnames: Watson, Pace, Wood
I am searching for information on William Riley PACE (b: DEC 1853, TN). He was born William Riley WATSON. My great aunt recently told us that he was not related to the PACE's but that he just "wandered" in one day and the PACE's took him in and raised him. I do not know how old he was when this happened. The general area would be northwest GA, northeast AL or southeast TN. Any information on his adopted parents (PACE) or his birth parents (WATSON) would be appreciated. Wm. Riley PACE married Nancy Emmaline WOOD (b: 15 APR 1842)from Roane County, TN in 1878.
