I am trying to figure out what happened to Mary Maria Sophia Martens who married a Wauters. She was b. 3 Sep 1884 in Hartwick IA and d. 4 Apr 1920. She was the daughter of Englebert and Paulina Cornelis Martens

Wauters in NJ

I am searching for information concerning Stephen Wauters, b. about 1866 in Jersey City NJ, d. Oct 1948 in Jersey City. He married Mary Ashmere, b. about 1867 in England, d. Nov 1944 in Jersey City NJ. Both are buried in Bayview Cemetary, Jersey City.
Their children were John, Edward, Ida, Albert, Stephen, George.
The elder Stephen Wauters is my brick wall. Information concerning his parents, siblings, and other family members is scarce other than they are from the Jersey City/Bayonne NJ and possibly NY areas.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you
