EDNA E. WAYMIRE, 78, ATTICA HOMEMAKER

ATTICA -- Edna E. Waymire, 78, of 910 Perry St. died at 2:55 p.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Lafayette, shortly after being admitted.
She had been in ill health several years.
Mrs. Waymire was a homemaker. She formerly worked at Attica Greenhouse and Radio Material Corp., also in Attica.
Born in Green Hill in Warren County, June 31, 1912, she lived in Independence and rural Warren County early in her life and attended Green Hill and Attica schools. She had lived in Attica since 1949.
She married Roy M. Waymire April 02, 1932, in Lafayette. He survives.
Mrs. Waymire was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary of Moose 23, Merry-Go-Round Club and Thursday Afternoon Club, all of Attica.
Also surviving is a son, Jack Waymire of Attica.

Visitation at Maus Funeral Home, Attica 5-9 p.m. Tuesday with Ladies Auxiiary of Moose service at 8:30 p.m. Funeral service in Maus Chapel, 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Duane Craycraft officiating. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Attica. Surviving are a grand-daughter, Bonnie Waymire of Indianapolis; a sister in law, Daisy Smith, a niece, June Keisler, a nephew, Robert E. Smith, all of Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes Association.
