Kathryn L. Mullen, 73, of Marshall died at 6:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, in Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall.
She was born Jan. 17, 1932, to Jack Waynick and Gladys Irene Gilbert Waynick. Her husband, Robert E. Mullen, preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1991. Survivors include five daughters, Robin O'Rourke, Penny Veach and husband Otto, and Chris Mullen, all of Marshall, Patricia Root and Collette Root, both of California; four sons, John Mullen and wife Deb, Tom Mullen, and Paul Mullen and wife Molly, all of Marshall, and Sam and fianceé Donna Zorn of Paris; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Lantz of Guam; a stepson, Gary Lantz of Kentucky; two brothers, Don Waynick and Jerry Waynick; two sisters, Jean Heiser and Lenora Pauley; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean O'Rourke; and two brothers.
She was a graduate of Central High School in Flint, Mich.
Services are 2 p.m. CST Monday in Pearce Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Deal officiating. Burial is in Auburn Cemetery, rural Marshall. Visitation is noon until services Monday.
