I would like to know more about the Jean Weakly who married John Stewart 22 May 1756 if anyone has more information. The John Stewart may have been from Henry Co., VA. They may have migrated to Kentucky and then to Missouri by 1800.

Do you know if Nadine Eva Weakly is related to Merlin Weakly? His given name is also recorded as Merlen. He was born in Illinois about 1904 and married Hazel Barnett about 1927. Hazel was born in Illinois between 1906 and 1908 and died 5 Jul 1976. Her parents were Everett Dea Barnett (1882-1943 and Callie Price (1886-1973). Everett and Callie are buried in the Shelbyville area, Shelby County, Illinois.

Marriage record of George Popejoy and Margaret Berry (Weakley) in Illinois

I have a copy of the marriage record of the above mentioned. I am of no relation, it just happened to be on the same page as my relatives. George was born in Illinois and is son of William Popejoy and Nancy Wiley. Margaret was born in Virgina and is the daughter of Emanual Weakly and Elizabeth Jenkins. Margaret was married before to a Berry. If you would like a copy please let me know.

The following are buried in Jonesville Cemetery, Bartholomew Co., IN, in Row 4. I have a Weekly in my line, so I thought I'd post them for others. I do not know anything else about these people. I have an Elizabeth Weekly married to John M. Bozell in 1855, and she is listed in the cemetery records with him, in Row 10, as Elizabeth Bozell (1839-1881). Note the variant spelling of the surname.

Sorry, Kerry, my maiden name was Saunders. According to a 1880 NE census of Red Willow Co. my grandfather's mother was listed as Mary Alberta Weekly born in VA. She had married my grgrandfather, Wilber F. Saunder or Saunders on April 21, 1868 in VA or MO. Do any of these names or dates "ring any bells"?

I am searching for Merlin Weakly (b. about 1904) and wife Hazel Barnett Weakly (b. about 1907). They and other members of the Weakly family were in the Westervelt area of Shelby County, Illinois. Merlin was recorded as a bank cashier in the 1930 census. Hazel was a public school teacher. She was the daughter of Everett Barnett and Callie Price.

Is your maiden name Helscel? My grandmothers name was Mayra Marie Helscel. Her father was Frank G. Helscel Sr., mother was Burtha Mae Harter. Frank's mothers maiden name was Weakly (Mary) Father was John Helscel, bd. 1857.

David Duck was born December 10, 1863 in Summersetshire England He died on April 1956 in Schenectady New Yor. and is burried in Vale Cemetery.

Othel F Eads died Dec. 25 1988, His parents were James D and Mary Law Eads.
