I am looking for information for Georg Jakob Weber born 1872, who was married to Wilhelmine Ziems born 1874 and married on 12/23/1899. The notar(authority)for thier vows was Franz Wurth, employed with Justice Department in Pforzheim, Germany. Their contract of marriage states: Miss Wilhelmine Ziems from Pforzheim
Herrn and Georg Jakob Weber ,Bijoutir. This information is from The Hall of Justice in Pforzheim,Germany.These were my great grandparents who came over to the U.S.A. in the early 1900's. I am looking for any information on their parents,siblings,grandparents or anything for that matter which might help me in my search. I'm told that my greatgrandfather's (Georg) father died when he was 12 yrs. old and that he may have had a brother and a sister, but the sister was sent away to another family for housekeeping so I have not found anything on her.
George's father's name is believed to be Johann,Elias Weber who married Christine Kusterer(recorded:Pfarramt Jngelfing.EV.) and the other son that they had may have been Jakob Ludwig Weber born 11/13/1866 and died 9/10/1940.
Johann,Elias Weber's brother may have been Friedrich,Wilhelm Weber married to Sophia Hoffman (recorded:Pfarramt Jngelfingen,EV.)
If anyone could be of assistance to me I would be very grateful. I seem to have reached a deadend and have been working on this for sometime now.
