I have an original postcard photograph of “Hattie M. Weber” and a young man, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in about 1915, and Hattie looks to be about in her early 20s.

I found Hattie M. Weber, age 18 in the 1910 census for Potosi (Grant Co.) WI, daughter of Charles T. Weber (a widower) and with her four younger siblings. In the 1905 Grant Co., WI state census, I found the family, showing her mother to be Henrietta.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to Hattie M. In 1910, they lived in Ft. Atkinston (Jefferson Co.) WI. In 1900, they stated they had been married 23 years (which makes it 1877), so this could have been their wedding picture.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to John or Mary Weber.

August Weber listed as being a Carpenter.

The children of August Weber and Christina Bauer included:

1. Katie Weber, b. Jun 1886, New York.

2. Anna Christina Weber, b. Aug 1888, Brooklyn, New York;

3. August Weber, b. 16 Jul 1890, Brooklyn, New York; d. 03 Jan 1958.

4. Elsie Weber, b. Jun 1892, New York.

5. Henrietta Weber, b. Mar 1894, New York.

6. Louisa Weber, b. Oct 1899, New York.

Anna Christina Weber married Ferdinand Frederick Kultzow (born June 2, 1881, Brooklyn, New York) on March 10, 1926, Brooklyn, New York. Ferdinand is the son of Frederick Kultzow and Marie Moehring.

Does anyone reading this message have any connections to this Weber family?

Weber family from Billigheim, Bavaria Germany

Searching for more details about Webers from Billigheim, Bavaria, in particular Johann Jakob Weber whose parents were Georg Friedrich Weber and Maria Katharina Medhardt. They all came from Billigheim Bavaria Germany and John Jacob Weber settled in Sheffield, Yorkshire England in the mid-late 1800s. His parents went from Yorkshire to New York in the late 1800s and had at least one child called Charles Weber, but I believe that the parents returned to Germany, although I don't know what happened to Charles Weber. John Jacob had also been to New York, together with his brother Frederick, but John Jacob came back to Sheffield and gained his naturalisation papers in the UK. The details are vague, from word of mouth more than fact, but I wondered if anything was familiar to anyone? Thanks for reading.

I am researching a John Weber, born in the late 1800's in Colorado. Mother's maiden name was Jennie Anderson. (My great-grandmother). John was married to a woman named Lucille. Pretty sure they had children. John was killed in an accident in the early 1930's. John lived in California as an adult. He was raised with my grandfather (Stanley Sardakowski) and my great aunts (Mayme and Jenny) but had a different father. I am looking for John's children, grand children, etc. Hope to hear from you!
Christi

I am looking for any information on Maggie or Magdeline Weber, who married Levi Weaver in Kosciusko Co., Indiana in 1870. She would be my g-g grandmother. To the best of my grandmother's knowlege, Maggie's parents emigrated from Germany in the 1840's and settled in Indiana. Maggie was born in 1849/50 somewhere in Ohio according to later census records, and had a brother possibly named John Weber that my grandmother remebers visiting the family when she was a little girl. Levi and Maggie moved to Kingman County, Kansas shortly after they married. Any information that could help me find out more about Maggie's family would be appreciated! Andrea

George - Frank - James WEBER

I keep hoping if I post enough places and times, eventually the brick wall will begin to weaken.

I am searching for information on parents and siblings of George G. WEBER, b. ca. 1875/76, Elk County, PA. It is known that George had at least one brother, Frank and at least two sisters, Elizabeth (Lizzie) and Annie. The two girls were connected to the Sisters of Mercy convent at Dubois Hospital (PA)in the 1920/30s.

George worked for the Pennsylvania RR in several capacities from the age of 11/14 (Family oral history differs and employment records lost in fire.)until retirement in the 1940s. He married Bertha L. OSWALT in 1897 at Bellefonte, Centre County, PA. I have extensive genealogical information on 8 of their 10 children. The first three were born in Punxatawny, PA. The remaining seven were born in Dubois, Jefferson County, PA.

The two children for whom I am also seeking information are Frank/Franklin b. 1906 and James Leslie b. 1908, both b. Dubois. I know Frank was married and had at least two children. My information was that Frank m. a Vada/Veda and lived somewhere on border between Ohio and PA. A cousin has recently informed me that as a child she visited this family in Pittsburgh, PA and she believes Frank's wife's name was Esther. Frank died of tuberculosis sometime between 1930 and 1936 and our family lost contact with his children. Is there a kind soul reading this board, with access to Pittsburgh papers of that era, who would be willing to look up an obit?

James Weber, the other sib for whom I am searching information, joined the U.S. Army at a young age, married Genevieve, settled in or around Yakimma, Washington. I would like to find his children, whom I believe are Gary, Ronnie, Karen. They would have been born in the late 1930s/early 1940s, in Washington state, possibly the Yakima area.

This woman's name was Anna Gallo. Anna had kids of her own and Leo left my grandfather Edward and his siblings to live with Anna and her kids. I don't know if Anna's maiden or married name was Gallo. I believe she was born in Illinois around 1888. I would LOVE to meet any living members of Anna Gallo's family. This part of my family history hadn't been acknowledged until now.

I am trying to locate any information regarding Henry (Heinrich?)Weber (my great-grandfather) married to Susan Ross. Born cir. 1850=1860's? and of (Swiss/German) descent. His son John Henry Weber (my grandfather) b.1/13/1892 and d. 2/11/1973. John married Rose (Theresa)Condron-Powell-Weber (d.2/15/50) and had 3 children: Robert (b.5/16/1915-d.7/1987), George (no info) and my father Charles(b.12/23/1920-d.8/2/2000.) John had a sister Sadie (Sarah) Weber-Dawson (lived to be 100 years old!)
Rose had other children by James Powell (m. cir.9/19/1897): Rachel? Mary/Marie Gillespie? Miriam? James? John? William? Rosie Powell? half sisters/brothers to my Dad.

The family lived on NYC in Germantown (East 88th Street and 2nd Avenue) from what I was told. Henry was a large, tall man, worked on the railroad (coal). Not much information on Susan Ross except that she was English.

Any information or further site-links to explore on Henry or others in this post is very much appreciated.
