Surnames: Webster, Godfrey, Merrian, Brewer, Judkins, Bachelder, Eastman
Nina: Here is the ancestry for Daniel Webster, the statesman from Mass.:
Thomas Webster, b. 1570? Ormsby, County Norfolk, England. He married Margery (no last name). They had a son Thomas, b. 20 Nov 1631 in Ormsby. Thomas the elder died in 1634. Margery remarried a man named William Godfrey, and they emigrated to Massachusetts in about 1637. They lived first in Watertown, then moved to Hampton, later in New Hampshire. They had several more children, William later died and Margery married one more time to John Merrian.
Thomas the younger married Sarah Brewer. They had 9 children. He died 5 Jan 1715 in Hampton.
Thomas and Sarah's son Ebenezer was b. 1 Aug 1667 in Hampton, d. 21 Feb 1735. He married Hannah Judkins, they had 9 children.
Ebenezer and Hannah had a son Ebenezer Jr. b. 10 Oct 1714. I don't have a death date. He married Susan Bachelder.
They had a son Ebenezer 3rd, b. 22 Apr 1739 in Kingston, NH and d. 14 Apr 1816 in Salisbury MA. He married twice, the second time to Abigail Eastman. They are the parents of Daniel Webster, the statesman. He was born 18 Jan 1782 in Salisbury MA and d. 24 Oct 1852 in Marshfield MA.
