Hi. I am looking for my husbands relatives. I don't have much to go on. My husbands grandfather
came to Chicago from Germany. He then moved to California. They had about 10 to 12 children.
Most of them lived in California. My husband's father's name was Elmer August Wedemeyer. I believe
he was one of the younger children. He was called Buster or Buss. We called him Buster. He was born
in 1914. He married Nancy ? (can't think of her last name right now.) She came here from Norway when
she was fourteen, to Elis Island, and then to California. She always told everyone she was from Sweeden.
I Think she was a hair dresser for Gloria Swanson. Buster was a meat cutter as I believe his father was.
He had a brother named Art and one named Bud, I belive. Buster and Nancy had three children in California,
Roy, Sonja, and Arlan, and one more son, Jack, in Oregon, who is my husband. After Nancy passed away, Buster married his brothers widow. My husbands parents have both passed away now, and I would like to
get some information on this Wedemeyer side. We are related to Herman Wedemeyer, and there was a
Mayer Wedemyer in one of the towns in California. This is all I have. Hoping to get more info.
