I have recently realized that my Auguste WITT (Justine Marie Auguste WITT) b 1842 at Tlukom, Wirsitz Co., Posen, to parents Martin WITT and Justine WILL, and at Lobsens, Wirsitz Co., 1863, married to Johann Michael WEGNER, b 1836, unknown place, emigrated to Milwaukee, WIS., arriving at N.Y. 29 April 1882. They brought 5 children, Ernestine, b 1866 (married August TIEGS), Gustav, b 1870, Herman, 1874, Ida, 1878, Eduard, 1881. Later John Fred, b 1884, Milwaukee, and another unknown child were born.
Of these 7 only 4 survived to 1900 (Ernestine, Herman, John, and one unknown). Does anyone know who the 4th survivor was?
I would love to hear from any relatives or any who know about this family more (I have much more on the WITT side especially and would like to know more about the WEGNERs).
Can anyone tell me when any of these individuals died, especially John b 1836 and Auguste b 1842? John must have died 1910 to 1916, and Auguste sometime after 1918. Thanks for any response.
