Am looking for Weightmans from Philadelphia, some names were John. The Weightman men seemed to have been butchers all the way back to England. Possible match for brother of William Weightman. John (butcher) and William Weightman (druggist) seen on ships list together in 1838, am thinking brothers or cousins. Both settled in Phila. John is seen living across the street from Weightman & Powers Chemicals on Ridge Avenue where William was owner, coincidental?? Both men seem to have name their children both William and John.
