Researching this name for a friend. We have a Frederick Weimar from Wurtenburg? marrying a Mary (Weidle?) about 1858 They had many children Charles,Louise,Louis George,Annie,Rosa,William and Henry. We think Mary was born about 1837 and Frederick about 1836. They obviously emigrated to the US where we think we have a link to a Lippmann family when Louise (b. 1862) married Johan Heinrich Lippmann in about 1880 (he prefered to call himself John Henry which is how he appears in the national census if he appears at all !) They went on to have two children Albert Adolf and Elsie M. Any help in confirming early dates or places and ancestry for this family would be most welcome.

Another linking surname is Kotter from Saxony who married into their family in 1908 when he married Elsie Lippmann
