My Weimer relatives came from Alsace, France to Lancaster County in 1818. My gggg-grandfather, Michael Weimer was killed in 1831 in Lancaster County. He left a widow and several children, one was his son Michael who married twice--having one son in the first marriage whose name was John A. Weimer.
