Hi I am working on the Piper line from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. During my research I come across some Weimer's
that married into my Piper line. I though some of you may like to see this. I like to share because genealogy should be free.
John Weimer b. unknown possibly in Fredrick County Maryland; d. before 1830; Married Margaret ? b. Bet. 1770 - 1780 d. Aft. 1840; They had the following children...
1.) Jacob Wiemer b. September 16, 1798
2.) Samuel Wiemer b. about 1796
3.) Agnes Nancy Weimer b. Bet. 1794 - 1802 (speculated child, my theory anyone with proof contact me.)

1.) Jacob Weimer b. September 16, 1798 in Fredrick County Maryland d. unknown in Ohio or Kansas; some people claim he is buried in Five Mile Cemetery, Brown County, Ohio. Married Esther Piper b. about 1808 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; d. unknown; some people claim that she is buried in Five Mile Cemetery, Brown County, Ohio. Some also claim that she is the daughter of William Piper. After researching the Piper line I believe this to be a possibility, but I believe her to be the daughter of William Piper (a different William than other researchers state.) The father of William Piper appears to be William Piper b. before 1755. I believe this to be the true son Of James Piper. I came to this conclusion based upon the following census records...

George Shunk resides next to him in the 1840 Jenner, Somerset County, Pennsylvania Census. Image Source: Year: 1840; Census Place: Jenner, Somerset, Pennsylvania; Roll: 494; Page: 113.
George Shunk was the father of Casianus Shunk b. September 14, 1843 who married Robert Piper b. December 21, 1843 (The Nephew of George Piper) Robert Piper was the son of Samuel Piper b. about 1813; Samuel Piper was the son Of Robert Piper and Margaret Polly Reed. Samuel would have been the brother of George. George's brother Robert that was married to Nancy Agnes Weimer had a daughter named Keziah Piper. Keziah Piper married Robert Peter Cauffield. Keziah and Robert migrated to Cambria County, Pennsylvania. They are buried there. George Piper and Catherine Weimer had a son named John Davidson Piper b.
