Hello. I have weishaar family in my blood, from my maternal grandmother, who married a klawitter . they settled in the steger, illinois area and richton park, illinois. they came to illinois when the indians had just been moved and they could see the tent circles still on the ground. they had at least 200 acres of land there. they raised their kids in the area; they came from alsace, possibly a place called schoenstadt.does anyone know where this is today? they came in the 1830's i believe and lived in german -speaking farm community in that area. any info on relatives would be welcome; thank you, regards, mary de francesco
